Get a CI speed estimate
Give us a public GitHub repository and your work email. We read its last 30 successful runs of the main CI workflow and email you the median run time, the slowest jobs and what it would likely take on compiler.dev. Free, read-only, no install.
Public repositories only. Private repos: install our app, or reply to the email.
What you get
- Median wall time of your main CI workflow, the longest job, and each job's median.
- The runner sizes your jobs use today.
- An estimated run time on compiler.dev, with cost per month at our rates ($0.003 per minute on 2-core, $0.012 per minute on 8 vCPU) next to GitHub's list price.
How honest is the number?
It is an estimate, based on our median measured speed-up across our stack benchmarks, not a measurement of your repository. Some projects are faster than the median and some are not faster at all. The only way to know is to run your own jobs: you can start with 200 free minutes.
We use your email to send the estimate and, only if you tick the box, to tell you about compiler.dev. We keep the repository name and the numbers we computed. We read only public run history through GitHub's API.
